Audio Analysis
Started by studying the audio track's waveform, breaking it into frequency bands that would each drive a separate visual element.
OPENING CASE 003

WORK / CASE 003
A kinetic motion graphics piece that translates the visual language of sound into pure geometric form and rhythm.
OVERVIEW
ECHOES is a short-form motion graphics piece built around a simple question: what does sound look like? The visual answer arrived in the form of concentric rings — expanding, overlapping, interfering with each other in the same way waves do in water.
The piece was animated in After Effects with 3D layering in Blender. The design system drew from waveform analysis — shapes, timing and colour were all derived from the audio track itself rather than created independently of it.
PROCESS
Started by studying the audio track's waveform, breaking it into frequency bands that would each drive a separate visual element.
Animated the ring expansion system in After Effects, using expressions to tie timing precisely to audio peaks and transients.
Added depth with 3D ring elements rendered in Blender, then composited all layers in After Effects with colour grading.
